Yes, the main point about being able to see how song chords are related by using the “Number System” is that if you change the song to a different key it’s much easier to still be able to play it. If you know a song uses the 1-4-5 chords, in C that’d be C-F-G, but in other keys it’s a simple process to know what chords to play. In D: D-G-A, in E: E-A-B, etc. Hope that helps.

There’s more to playing complete songs than I can explain in this handful of videos, if you want to continue on I suggest seeing if a Piano Genius membership is right for you, there’s dozens of hours of training all broken down into bite-sized pieces. Playing songs from basic chord charts (instead of sheet music) is the way I play songs. Thanks for being here, let me know if you have any other questions.
