Air Piano

My Secret Weapon For Learning Songs
Faster And Easier Revealed

In a couple of weeks (On March 10th) I’m going to be playing keyboards for Chuck Negron (from Three Dog Night), playing some of his hit songs like Joy To The World (Jeremiah was a bullfrog…), One Is The Loneliest Number, Mama Told Me, etc.

It’s for a charity event my wife has been involved with every year for the American Cancer Society, and I’m really looking forward to it. I never realized it before but Three Dog Night songs are really keyboard-dependent, so there’s a lot riding on my playing these songs well, which brings me to the point of this post:

Playing Air Piano

I try to know as much as I can about a song before I ever sit down and actually start to learn how to play it. Without even knowing what key it’s in, you can learn so much, so once you actually sit down to learn it, half the work is done. 🙂

Here’s an inside look:

I hope you found that interesting, and there’s an entire Module in the members area detailing how I learned about 25 songs quickly to gig with Rick Springfield. You can get access to all that plus 500+ more piano training videos as well, I encourage you to check it out.

…And if you live close enough to Palm Springs to come, attend and come see me play! It’s a great event for a great cause, and great food as well:  You can buy tickets here (March 10th Gala, 2019 https://www.desertspirit.net/
